Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme has been started by the West Bengal minority development and finance Corporation for the students of West Bengal who come from the minority community. Both college and school level students will get financial help for their studies from the government under this scholarship scheme.

Under this scheme, the wb government provides social-economic benefits and educational opportunities to minority students. eligible students can avail of financial assistance from class 1 to PhD level.

Details Of WB Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme

West Bengal Pre Matric Scholarship	Under this scheme, financial incentive from Rs 150 to Rs 750 per month is provided along with ad hoc reward of Rs 1000 per year. Students studying in class 9th and 10th can avail the benefit of the West Bengal pre-Matric Scholarship scheme
West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship	Financial incentive from Rs 160 to Rs 1200 per month is provided to the beneficiaries. Students who are studying in post matriculation or post-secondary levels such as in class 11th and 12th can get the benefit from this scholarship scheme. Students who belong to SC, ST, and OBC categories can avail of the benefit.
Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship	There are Rs 3000 per month financial incentives provided to the beneficiaries along with a yearly book grant of Rs 2000. This scholarship is available only for female students who are studying in class 12th. Those female students who are pursuing undergraduate courses in basic science, engineering, medical etc can also avail the benefit of this scheme
Swami Vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship	Rs 8000 per month will be provided to the students which will be dependent on their level of education. Students who are studying in class 11 to PHD level can avail this scholarship scheme. This scholarship will be distributed among students according to their academic advantage and financial needs
Hindi Scholarship Scheme	Those students who are studying in non-Hindi speaking states like West Bengal will be provided with a Hindi scholarship scheme. Students who are studying in higher secondary or undergraduate or postgraduate or research level courses can avail the benefit of this scheme. Under this scheme financial incentives from Rs 300 to Rs 1000 per month will be provided to students.

Benefits and Features of Aikyashree Scholarship

WB Aikyashree Scholarship Scheme has been launched by the West Bengal minority development and finance corporation.
It is an end-to-end scholarship for the students of West Bengal.
Students who belong to the minority community can avail this scholarship scheme to get financial incentives for their education.
Financial incentives or help is provided to both college and school-level students.
The government is providing socio-economic and educational opportunities to minority students.
With the help of this scholarship scheme, students can avail financial assistance from class 1st to PHD level.

Eligibility Criteria for West Bengal Aikyashree Scholarship

West Bengal Post Matric Scholarship For SC/ST/OBC	1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. 2. The annual family income of the applicant should be Rs 100000 or less for OBC, Rs 200000 or less for SC, and Rs 2.5 lakh or less for ST students. 3. Students in class 11th, 12th, graduation, or post-graduation level can apply for this scholarship. 4. Only those applicants who belong to SC, ST, or OBC category can apply for this scholarship.
Bigyani Kanya Medha Britti Scholarship, West Bengal	1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. 2. The applicant must be female. 3. The applicant must have qualified for class 12th from any board. 4. Students must be pursuing education in the field of engineering, medicine, or basic science.
Hindi Scholarship Scheme, West Bengal	1. Applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal. 2. The candidate must belong to non-Hindi speaking state. 3. The student must have passed either madhyamik or higher secondary or graduation or post graduation or any equivalent degree course. 4. The applicant must have secured at least 60% marks in the qualifying examination 60% marks to be attained in the first trial only. 5. The applicant must have Hindi as one of the subjects.
West Bengal Pre Matric Scholarship For Sc St Student	1. The student must be a resident of West Bengal. 2. The annual family income of the applicant should be Rs 200000 or less. 3. Applicant must be a student of class 9th or 10th. 4. Applicant must either belong to SC category or ST category.

Conditions For Aikyashree Scholarship

Applicant has to submit the income certificate of the family while filling the application form.
To renew the application, student have to secure at least 50% marks in the previous year examination.
The hostellers and day scholars will be provided with maintenance allowance
The students should regularly attend the classes.
Found any violating in school discipline or terms and conditions of scholarship then the scholarship will be suspended or cancelled.
If the student has applied any kind of false means in order to obtain a scholarship then the scholarship will be cancelled and paid scholarship will be recovered
The amount of scholarship will be directly credited into the bank account of the student through direct benefit transfer mode.

Selection Procedure of Aikyashree Scholarship

The selection procedure under Aikyashree scholarship is as follows:-

For new scholarship: Students will avail the benefits on the basis of merit and according to the allocation of budget.
For renewal scholarship: Those students who have secured at least 50% marks in the previous qualifying examination will be considered for scholarship.

Visit the official website of West Bengal minorities development and finance corporation.
On the homepage, click on SVMCM Renewal option.

On this new page, select your district name.
Now renewal form will appear on the screen.
Enter the registered Bank account number of SCMCM and the old SVMCM permanent Id.
Now, you have to click on submit option.
Enter all the required information on this renewal form which are as follows:-
