Update: West Bengal government has launched this new WB Prochesta Scheme to provide financial helps to the daily wage earners, labourer, and workers who has lost employment or livelihood opportunities due to outbreak of COVID-19. Under this scheme, government provides Rs 1000 assistance to daily wage earners, labourers, and workers.

Under this WB Prochesta Prakalpa scheme, government has provided Rs 1000 assistance to daily wage earners, labourers, and workers to feed their families and daily expenses to stay indoors and cooperate with the administration during the lockdown period.

Prochesta Prakalpa App Download Conditions/Eligibility Criteria

• The beneficiary must be a resident of West Bengal and fall below the poverty line to avial the Prochesta Prokolpo scheme.
• All laborer/daily wage earner/workers who are earning daily wages in the unorganized sector.
• The beneficiary must be a sole earner of the family.
• Beneficiary of any social scheme of the State, like a social pension scheme Samajik Suraksha Yojana (SSY). etc are not able to avail the benefit of this scheme.
• District Magistrate will check and match whether the applicant fulfills all the eligibility conditions or not.

WB Prochesta Prakalpa App through Offline mode of application:

If you choose the offline mode of application for the Prochesta Prakalpa scheme, then you need to manually submit the form to the DM office. And you need to follow the below steps.

• If you are an eligible applicant then go to the official website of the state government of West Bengal.
• Now, download the application form there and take the print out of the form.
• Next, fill the required details properly and cross-check to your form to avoid any error.
• If all filled details are correct in the form, go to the DM office.
• And submit the form to avail of the benefit of the scheme Prochesta Prakalpa.

1. Go to the official website of the state government of West Bengal.
2. The official page is prachestawb.in to download the android application.
3. Download this application after visiting the link on your android phone.
4. Now, click on install option to install the android application.
5. Open the Download Prachesta Mobile Apk to select your choice of comfortable language which are available as English and Bengali.
6. Now, enter a valid mobile number and press the option “generate OTP”.
7. Next, enter the received OTP in the option and click on the Verify OTP.
8. Enable your location.
9. Fill the required details to proceed in the application process such as names, father’s name, gender, Date of Birth (DOB) and age correctly.
10. Now, enter your voter ID number, digital Ration number and Aadhar card number.
11. Upload required documents images and complete the verification process.
12. This completes the procedure of online application for the scheme Prochesta Prakalpa. 

Note: Applicant must be a resident of the state of West Bengal. Because applying for the Prochesta Prakalpa scheme from outside the state of West Bengal will not work.
